Within a maximum of two years, the banned driving information system will be linked across Europe.

The European Parliament has passed a resolution at first reading that a “bumped” driver who loses his license in his own country will not be allowed to drive in other EU countries. Member States must enact this standard within two years at the latest.

🪪 Nowadays, a driver with a Czech license and a driving ban in another EU country is not allowed to drive only in that country, but in the Czech Republic he can drive.
